All: Two of us, Pat McKay and myself, turned up at the Dartmouth meeting place, and waited until 15 minuites after the appointed time. Without (much) hesitation, we set out for a drizzly walk down the beach. It was actually quite pleasant, at least on the inner side. Results? Not much, although the walk is always invigorating. We found only one Ipswich Sparrow and a flock of 8 Sanderling on the inner side about half-way along the beach, apart from the usual gulls, crows, a couple of Song Sparrows. As we were leaving we met Lucas Berrigan, who had arrived late because of confusion over meeting place, His skills, and young eyes and ears, might have picked up some other species. We saw nothing much on the way back along the shore road (207)and called it a day by noon. Cheers, Ian McLaren
