Not being very fit to drive, I peered over the marshes from the passenger side and spied a Snowy Owl perched rather conspicuously on top of a dyke. This was probably 100 m south of the eastbound lane of the 104, and about 1 km or less west of Exit 3 to Amherst (Victoria St). The bird appeared to be fairly heavily barred, so perhaps was a juvenile female. I hope I am correct in calling everything near the 104 around the NS-NB border the Tantramar Marsh.
