Of note=2C I just had a report of a flock of 50 brant=2C which were at Seco=
nd Peninsula on Dec. 22. This is very rare for this area. The gentleman k=
nows brant well and definitely knows them from other species. He is a phot=
ographer and has gone down to Cape Sable Island for the past number of year=
s to photograph the brant there during the festival. This man has also rep=
orted rarities in the past=2C which have proven to be accurate=2C so I have=
no doubt about his identification skills or the report as being true.

I had a chipping sparrow at the feeder outside of the store at Lower Rose B=
ay on Sunday=2C Dec. 21. At house number 14 on Archibald Street in Lunenbu=
rg=2C there is also a chipping sparrow tending.
