At the usual place at Hortonville, south and east from Just Us! Coffee Roasters and south of Highway 101, we saw the nearly-all-WHITE RED-TAILED HAWK. With very little snow in open areas, the white hawk showed up like a "sore thumb", first on a fence-post and then in flight to perch in a line of poplar trees. Our EASTERN TOWHEE was not seen at home today, but of course that doesn't mean it wasn't present.
