This afternoon, Ian McLaren and I found two juvenile Long-billed Dowitchers waiting out the
high tide atop a rock at the extreme north end of Cole Harbour, HRM, alongside Highway
207. The location is E of Robinson Road, just past Alf Lane, as one travels out of Dartmouth -
Cole Harbour village. Both were beginning to show some basic plumage but were still mainly
in juvenal plumage.
