Late this afternoon I had three seperate, independant reports of a bird =
staggering across the highway a short distance south of the Balancing =
Rock trail on Long Island. "Looked like a Gannet but had a blue face and =
blue feet." "Never seen anything like it."
"Feet were bluer than blue."

I went up and looked in the ditches with a floodlight after dark but =
could not find it. I thought I should post it in case anyone has the =
time tomorrow to look as I am not sure if I can, but will try. Last =
report was 200 feet from the Balancing Rock trail, towards Brier Island.

There is only one bird I can see that fits that description and wouldn't =
THAT be a find but it is sad as it probably got storm stayed and is far =
from home.

FYI
