I had time to do a brief walk of the landing this afternoon. I was set to
test my new lens given the good lighting, but it clouded up to the point
where i was basically skunked. There is no sign of the Great Egret first
reported by Randy Lauff today, or last week. Amongst the ducks I was able to
pick out 3 Gadwall and a Northern Pintail - I seem to have great difficulty
finding pintails up this way. Also, a Belted Kingfisher and Great Blue Heron
are still around.
