Merritt Gibson reported a Cattle Egret in Canning yesterday.
"It was located on a field at Piell's farm, route 221, west of Canning, in a
field with horses. The horses are out each day, but when they go in at
night the egret disappears. Caution: Route 221 in this area is crooked, the
banks are high and often washed out, and the traffic to and from the school
is fast and not birder friendly".
