Today among 1200+ Canada Geese just outside Windsor, Hants Co., there was a single adult (or very near adult) blue-
morph Snow Goose (a "Blue Goose"). 

This was a very distinctive and interesting bird, close or equal in size to the accompanying Canadas and with a large bill 
and sloping profile. My guess is that it came from one of the high Arctic populations ("Greater" Snow Goose) where the 
incidence of this colour morph is very low. It appeared to me to be outside the size range of at least the average Snow 
Goose from the center of the continent. 

Today this flock of geese was closest to Hwy 14, the Windsor-Chester highway, just outside the Windsor town limits. 
Sometimes it is visible from College Street, Windsor, by driving just past Kings-Edgehill School to the grounds of the 
retirement home and looking S. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
