Janice lives at 1017 Chapel St. and is "kitty-corner" from a bed-and- breakfast whose proprietors have also seen this squirrel. Janice will try to get a photo and will let me know if she is successful. Chapel Street runs north from Canning's Main St. just east of Harris' Pond. I assume from Janice's description that this large black squirrel is a melanistic/black-phase GRAY SQUIRREL.
