I saw an American Kestrel sitting on a power line yesterday as I was leaving
my subdivision on Old French Dr. in Ravenwood, I'm guessing this is the same
guy that I saw in the same place about two months earlier. On the Greenwood
Rd. in the woods just before the Hwy. 101 there were many BC Chickadees and
a few GC Kingletts mixed in with them. At the Walker's Brook on Maple/Bishop
Mnt. Rd. there were a couple YR Warblers. On the top of the mountain along
Stronache Mountain Rd. we had the pleasure of seeing a couple Gray Jays in
the clear cut fields. My daughter and I took a walk around the duck pond
trail in Kingston and the woods were full of RB Nuthatches and BC
Chickadees.

The other day I posted seeing hunters at the Belle Isle Marsh but didn't
receive any responses, so I'm guessing that this Marsh is NOT protected and
the hunters are allowed to hunt there??

Thanks and cheers!

Jeff
