All:

B and I went for a drive/strolls in Halifax (including the north end Halifax
Yard) and Dartmouth (including Birch Cove area).

No one has stressed the big drop in sparrow numbers compared with last weekend -
we found much reduced numbers of Song and White-throated, no White-crowned and
very few other passerines. The only warbler was an Orange-crowned at the foot
of Lakeside Treeace (N. side of Birch Cove Park).

Cheers, Ian McLaren
