Voyages in Svalbard and Greenland. Canada shares the Arctic with four =20=

other nations, including Norway (the Svalbard islands) and Denmark =20
(Greenland). Blake Maybank spent five weeks last summer in Svalbard and =20=

Greenland on an expedition cruise ship, and returned with tales and =20
photos of Arctic wildlife, wildflowers, history, and landscapes.=A0And =20=

ice.=A0 Lots of ice.=A0Join Blake as he shares his adventures, and bring =

your thermal underwear.

Blake Maybank is a former employee of Parks Canada (Chief Park =20
Naturalist in Gros Morne, among other posts), and is now a writer, =20
naturalist, and guide. He is author of Birding Sites of Nova Scotia and =20=

The National Parks and Other Wild Places of Canada.=A0=A0A member of the =
=20
Nova Scotia Bird Society for 25 years, and he is currently the editor =20=

of Nova Scotia Birds, as well as a regional editor for North American =20=

Birds.=A0He wrote the Code of Birding Ethics for the American Birding =20=

Association.
