Hi All, The Red-bellied Woodpecker was busily storing acorns in a hollow branch today very close to the same location it was frequenting yesterday. For those who know the cemetery the Red-bellied was near the same hillside where the majority of the good birds have shown up over the years. For those who are not as familiar with this site this cemetery, famous in non-birding circles for its Titanic graves, has 3 main entrances. The best one to use is at 3720 Windsor Street. Drive in through the gate, and take the immediate left lane called Last Post Road. Proceed to a small parking lot and on your left you will see a wooded hillside. This hillside has produced a very long list of rare birds over the years, especially during the late fall including such European goodies such as Chaffinch and Jackdaw. - All the Best in Birding, Clarence
