Index of Subjects A new yard bird for us this morning was an E. Phoebe. It's yellowish breast made it a juvenile, with a dark head, no wing-bars and a bobbing tail. There may have been a second one - an adult, which perched on our garden stakes, and did some fly-catching low to the ground. We did not see two at the same time, and it may have been the same bird, but we did not notice any yellow on it's breast. Lois Codling, L. Sackville
