This morning about four miles out of Tiverton on a whale watch, a very weary little warbler (don't ask, I don't know, just a "confusing fall warbler" to me) flew into the wheelhouse and settled down for a nice nap while we headed in. Got it safely to shore. From looking at forty ton animals to something barely an ounce just minutes later... this bay is the most amazing, wonderful place.

This afternoon a humpback spy-hopped several times and lingered and rolled upside down right beside the boat, swam under the boat, then swam backwards out again, and then blew right into the open mouth of one of our passengers!! She wasn't sure whether she should be thrilled or disgusted, but I told her she had bragging rights. (Then I gave her a mint.)
