On the way this afternoon I saw what appeared to be a Leach's Storm-petrel flying around the bridge at Wallace. I didn't get great looks, so it could have been something more exotic, but that's what it appeared to be. I suspect that's not a common species in Wallace Bay, and I wonder if Kyle had something to do with it. There were also about 100 Canada Geese, 2 Hooded Mergansers and a few Bonaparte's gulls.
