Hi all, last evening Dad and I checked out Duck Lake and observed 2 Pied-billed Grebes, 2 Wood Ducks, 1 Northern Pintail, 4 Ring-necked Ducks and a motley crew of American Black Ducks & Mallards. Also present was a Belted Kingfisher and a family of beavers. We saw all the same sparrows in the weedy field mentioned in my previous post including the Lincoln’s and the immature White-crowned. - All the best in Birding, Clarence
