August 27, 2008 Checked out the golf course and found 60 Black bellied plovers and 3 Golden Plovers as well as 10 + Semipalmated plovers and two Lesser Yellowlegs. They preferred the 'green' zone. A few tree and barn swallows flew low while two N. Harriers were looking for some food. And NO Golfers anywhere as the golf course was closed possibly due to foul weather. Cheers, liz
