I had a good chuckle earlier this am.

I was looking out the window at the backyard, noticing the usual
suspects at the feeders. ( chickadees, goldfinch, sparrows, finches )
when I noticed red on the roof of the shed.

I'm always on the alert for a cardinal and I thought, "Finally!"

However, it was 'only' a robin, sitting right on the peak of the
roof, one wing on the left of the roof, one wing on the right of the
roof and his beak raised to the sun.

I swear there was a look of pure bliss on his little bird face.
