Sat 09 Aug 2008 – Taylor Head Provincial Park Leaders: Jim Cameron 885-2970 E-mail: jim.cameron@ns.sympatico.ca and Warren Parsons 772-2207 E-mail: rosalieeast@ns.sympatico.ca This will be a joint trip with the Friends of Taylor Head Provincial Park. Meet at the end of the Taylor Head Provincial Park Road, in the last parking lot, at 9:00 am. Taylor Head is off Highway #7, Eastern Shore, past Clam Harbour and before Sheet Harbour. Taylor Head has over 17 km of hiking trails of which we will cover approximately 3 or 4. Many birds breed here such as Red Crossbills, Lincoln’s Sparrows, Grey Jays and more. It’s beach, rocky and wooded terrain so hiking boots and a hearty lunch are recommended. No rain date. Everyone Welcome! Cheers; Suzanne Borkowski __________________________________________________________________ Looking for the perfect gift? Give the gift of Flickr! http://www.flickr.com/gift/
