The peak of Short-billed Dowitcher migration has ended on the Eastern Shore.  I saw the following in Cole Harbour on the evening of August 4:

Black-bellied Plover:  28
Semipalmated Plover:  446
Greater Yellowlegs:  41
Willet:  36
Lesser Yellowlegs:  29
Semipalmated Sandpiper:  1135
Least Sandpiper:  12
White-rumped Sandpiper:  4
Ruddy Turnstone:  7
Short-billed Dowitcher:  1367
