This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --Boundary_(ID_gmHsQF0UTxeSZ0kvrkSucg) Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT Hi everyone, Regardless of the hummingbird concentration you choose (my personal preference is between 3:1 and 4:1) please remember the most important thing is to keep your feeders clean and mould free and your solution fresh, with no fermentation taking place (solution starts to look cloudy). This basically means to change any left-over solution every couple of days or every day, if you choose to hang your feeder in the sun as opposed to the shade, and to clean your feeder regularly with a vinegar and water solution (soaps and bleach solutions can leave traces). Even if your feeders are emptied by the hummers daily, mould can still develop inside the feeder. Moulds and spoilage are big threats to hummers using feeders. All the best, Lance =========================== Lance Laviolette Glen Robertson, Ontario lance.laviolette@lmco.com =========================== --Boundary_(ID_gmHsQF0UTxeSZ0kvrkSucg) Content-type: text/html; charset=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=us-ascii"> <META content="MSHTML 6.00.2900.3354" name=GENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY style="WORD-WRAP: break-word; webkit-nbsp-mode: space; webkit-line-break: after-white-space"> <DIV dir=ltr align=left><SPAN class=364153013-04082008><FONT face=Arial color=#0000ff size=2>Hi everyone,</FONT></SPAN></DIV> <DIV dir=ltr align=left><SPAN class=364153013-04082008><FONT face=Arial color=#0000ff size=2></FONT></SPAN> </DIV> <DIV dir=ltr align=left><SPAN class=364153013-04082008></SPAN><FONT face=Arial><FONT color=#0000ff><FONT size=2>R<SPAN class=364153013-04082008>egardless of the hummingbird concentration you choose (my personal preference is between 3:1 and 4:1) please remember the most important thing is to keep your feeders clean and mould free and your solution fresh, with no fermentation taking place (solution starts to look cloudy).
