It's a fine day down here on the Wyman Road near Yarmouth, and the birds =
are active.

About 10 A.M. today, I heard a vireo-type call in the spruce woods =
twenty to thirty feet to the east of me. A few minutes later, I heard a =
two-tone sound vaguely like a "mew," but could not get a good enough =
look at the perpetrator. A couple of birds were actively moving about, =
giving views when they wished

As I got to the binoculars, I saw something vireo-shaped slinking on a =
branch. It flew just as I saw its bright yellow belly, whic does make =
me suspect we have/had a Philadelphia Vireo about. =20

When it disappeared, an empid with a bright yellow belly appeared and =
was more cooperative in giving me a view. My first yellow-bellied =
flycatcher, I strongly suspect.
