I know where David is coming from with the asked question.. I have seen
the PEI provincial flower desplayed as a showy and then other times as a
common pink slipper orchid.. I was under the impression that the
common one, Cyp.acaule was the true Provincial flower.

Dear All, July 6, 2008
Can someone confirm or correct my understanding that the Provincial
flower of PEI is the Showy Lady's Slipper and not the Common Lady's
Slipper ?
Yt, DW
