I have a Cecropia Moth cocoon  and am waiting for the moth to emerge...I 
also had one last year and the it emerged the same week of my daughters 
graduation which was around the 21st of June.They are beautiful!! Can't wait 
for it to arrive.

No doubt Fritz your intentions were good. Once again I photographed a 
Cecropia Moth at my place of work which has been sitting pretty much idle, 
at least since I first noticed it yesterday morning. Its hard to believe it 
has such a short life span as an adult. Here's a look captured this evening
