 Hi all
It was a great day for atlassing yesterday and I was doing point counts in Merland and West Intervale area in Antigonish- Guysborough counties. Early morning birds sounds were in full force and I had several year firsts with 6-7 Eastern Peewee and about the same Canada Warbler. I picked up a Rusty Blackbird in the West Intervale square and my first WOOD THRUSH that I have found on my own in breeding season in NS. It was at the intersection of the Roman Valley Rd. with the Heatherton-Alder R. Rd. ( Nad 83- 600800 X 5034558). I also had my first year observations =of eastern Kingbird and Nelson's Sharp-tail Sparrow at Cross Rd. West Intervale.
cheers
Ken
