Through the '80's and '90's, the only recollection I have  of a winter 
vulture around Yarmouth was that Christmas Count bird from 1982 or '83. 
However, since at least 2003 or 2004 (and probably before that, but I was 
away winters, back then!) winter turkey vultures have become commonplace in 
the area.  Town Point and the area west of Lake Milo are two good spots to 
see them.

Haven't heard of any breeding, but if they are here the year round, one does 
get suspicious, doesn't one??
