I went birding at the Musquodoboit Trailways this morning in search for
warblers. It was a beautiful morning and tonnes of birds were singing. I
only walked the first kilometre, but I found lots. Here is a list of
arrivals:
Tree Swallow - 4
Blue-headed Vireo - 2
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 1
Northern Parula - 4
Nashville Warbler - 1
Yellow Warbler - 3
Magnolia Warbler - 5
Palm Warbler - 4
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 7
Black-and-white Warbler - 5
American Redstart - 4
Common Yellowthroat - 3
Chipping Sparrow - 1
Swamp Sparrow - 2
There was a Bald Eagle being attacked by an Osprey over the water; it made
the Osprey look so small!
If you want to see warblers, the Musquodoboit Trailways is a great place to
go.
