Hi Jeannie,

2008_0504wildlife0028 is Ellychnia corrusca, the commonest lampyrid
(firefly) in the province, although this species is a non-luminescent
one.

2008_0504wildlife0051 is a polychate worm, quite possibly in the genus
Nereis.

2008_0504wildlife0094 is Carabus nemoralis, a large species of
introduced ground beetle (Carabidae).

Were the beetles photographed at Cape George or in Port Hawkesbury?

Best wishes,

Chris
