Yesterday I encountered a N. Hawk Owl along the Glascow Head Road. It =
was perched on a snag on the beach line and took off as I spotted it. I =
was able to get a great look B-4 it went behind the point and disapeared =
out over the water. The last time I saw it, it was under the cliff on =
Grassy Island (across the harbour.=20

While talking to Gertie Mac Kenzie yesterday she told me of an encounter =
with a Snowy Owl she had in her driveway on about March 23rd give or =
take a day. Upon returning home in the car it flew up from her diveway =
and over the hill. She's seen many over the years and her location is a =
favorite haunt for the birds.

I'll post an update if either are seen again.
