Hi All, Lots of action at the feeders today. We had a number of new sprin=
g arrivals including a Fox Sparrow, Song Sparrow, Grackle & Starling. A lar=
ge (200+) flock of Common Redpolls was here all day including a couple of c=
onfirmable Hoary Redpolls. Robins have been here for about a week and there=
were even two Evening Grosbeaks; the first I've seen in months. The White-=
breasted Nuthatches remain daily visitors. In all we had seventeen species.=

The snow has finally started to retreat and bare patches are appearing =
in the field in front of my house. There is still a five foot drift near my=
front door and the same depth in the local woods. Lots of birds singing ar=
ound the house but the local trails and woods are very quite. All the best.=
