Today (Tuesday) at least = 12 different individuals flew in front of me across a wide path, and I'm = sure there were a lot that I missed. They are impressive singers. Here = is a photo of one of them: http://bernieb.smugmug.com/gallery/916397_ynXPk/3/43464755_HFV6d/Medium A couple of other likely spring arrivals included a Great Blue Heron on = Monday (perhaps the one seen in St. Peters) and a Belted Kingfisher = today. On the way home, within minutes I viewed 5 deer next to a house. The = time of day for this, at 20 minutes to one in the afternoon, was what = mostly got my attention: http://bernieb.smugmug.com/gallery/916397_ynXPk/3/43464756_s5nLV/Medium http://bernieb.smugmug.com/gallery/916397_ynXPk/3/43464757_UhHZL/Medium I was able to photograph them without really disturbing them, as they = had remained there while I continued on my merry way.
