Today there was a pair of Wigeon ( have not determined whether American =
or not yet) beside a farm pond in Port Clyde. They likely are the same =
pair that nested here last year. The pond is the one closer to 103 =
located between the 2 houses on the farm, and set back from the road by =
about 200 yards. There was also a pair of Wood Ducks located in another =
pond beside the road at the same farm. This pond is located right beside =
the road and south of the older farm house.

Wideon are very rare in this area and last year was the first indication =
I have seen of a nesting pair.

THere was 4 geese immediatelky above the Port Clyde Bridge. THere have =
been 3 that appeared to be a family group and there were joined buy a =
forth this morning. This goose is much larger and appears to ge a =
Greater Canada Goose.

Sandy
