Hi there,

I was talking to Jean Hartley this evening and she reported that she
had seen her first spring migrant this morning - a Fox Sparrow at her
feeder in Rockingham. She still has Redpolls. While walking around
the Bedford Waterfront at De Wolfe Park this afternoon, Jean saw the
Northern Mockingbird in its usual place in the multiflora rose
tangles along the railway tracks - it has been there all winter.

After seeing just the two Common Grackles in my backyard on Saturday
and Sunday, I saw small groups (perhaps 15 in all?) while walking
home from work this evening between Coburg Road and Chebucto Road in
Halifax. I also saw small flocks of redpolls and House Finches this morning.

	Cheers,

	Patricia L. Chalmers
	Halifax
