Feb. 18, 2008 - Not a great day weather-wise for feeder-birds (warm and rainy), but the CLAY-COLOURED SPARROW was back this morning. Also there was a small mixed flock of Carduelis finches, including 3 PINE SISKINS, a C. REDPOLL, and 2 AM. GOLDFINCHES. ---------- From: Jim Wolford <jimwolford@eastlink.ca> Date: Sun, 17 Feb 2008 16:08:16 -0400 To: NatureNS <naturens@chebucto.ns.ca> Cc: Nelson Poirier <nelson@nb.sympatico.ca> Subject: clay-coloured sparrow back in Wolfville again Feb. 17, 2008 -- At 4:15 p.m. I looked out at our Wolfville feeders to discover that the missing CLAY-COLOURED SPARROW has returned again! No sign of the chipping sparrow that I used to see occasionally with it. A single C. REDPOLL has also dropped in. Cheers :-) from Jim in Wolfville, 542-9204 --------------------- Jim (James W.)
