EVISED First Week of February 2008Hi there, There's nothing =
like posting a list to get lots of additions! As I expected, many of you h=
ave promptly reported more birds to add to the list, so I have updated it. =
It's great to hear that the Varied Thrush, some of the warblers, and the B=
ullock's Oriole are still hanging in there, though it seems to have been ha=
rder for shorebirds and sparrows. From now on, I expect the additions will=
come in more slowly, so I will not update the list again till the end of n=
ext week. Thanks to Blake for incorporating this list into his Nova Scotia=
 Winter Bird Sightings at http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/maybank/other/nswinte=
r.htm. I think during the doldrums of winter this is an interesting=
exercise to remind us of how diverse our winter bird population really is.=
