TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE MOON (mark it on your calendar) If you have a BNS calender for 2008, it is already marked and a note o go with it. Night of February 20 there is a total eclipse of the Moon visible from all of Atlantic Canada. This link has information about the eclipse http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/LEmono/TLE2008Feb21/ TLE2008Feb21.html This link has a diagram for the eclipse drawn for Atlantic Time Zone http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/LEmono/TLE2008Feb21/image/ TLE2008Feb21-AST1.GIF Sherman Sherman Williams shermw@xcountry.tv On 6-Feb-08, at 11:52 AM, Sherman Williams wrote: > Actually that time should be 11:55 p.m. AST instead of 11:31, when the > eclipse is at maximum, not that it would make any difference for US. > > Sherman > ---------------------------- Original Message > ---------------------------- > Subject: Eclipse of Sun > From: "Sherman Williams" <shermw@xcountry.tv> > Date: Wed, February 6, 2008 11:43 am > To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca > Cc: shermw@xcountry.tv > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > ---- > > Not that we will see it but some penguins might.
