A flock of about 200 Redpolls that swept in and out of our yard this morning was 99% the expected <i>Carduelis flammea 
flammea</i>, but there was at least one (judging by size and plumage) of the larger <i>C f. rostrata</i>. There was also at least one 
Hoary Redpoll, by size and plumage the smaller&#160; and more southern <i>C. hornemanni exilipes.
