I've posted at the links below,  a few photo samples of the planetary  
gathering we've been fortunate to follow happening in Avonport's  
eastern sky the last few mornings.   Venus (brightest planet)  
converged on and passed Jupiter's location in the Sagittarius sky  
(closest on Feb 1st);  this morning the crescent Moon got in the  
act.  I'd like to catch the view tomorrow morning (weather ???).   
Venus, Jupiter and the thin cerscent Moon will be in a binocular view  
huddle, within 5 degrees, low in the eastern sky. Between 6:30 and  
6:50 a.m. would probably be the best period to view.
