Feb. 1, 2008 - Sheila Burke reports that last Sunday, Jan. 27, she had an incredibly close look at a PEREGRINE FALCON, from inside a cottage or house (Travis is the family name) at Porterıs Point, which is just north of the mouth of the Canard River. The peregrine was perched on a railing only about 2 FEET from her through a window. Maybe with a bit of luck someone will spot it this coming Sunday during our annual Cyril K. Coldwell Eagles and Raptors Count of Eastern Kingıs County. Results will be communicated a few days after the count. Cheers :-) from Jim in Wolfville, 542-9204 --------------------- Jim (James W.)
