A friend of mine (Jim Taylor whom a lot of you know) just called me to say
that he has 90 species for his winter list in Ontario.  The interesting part
is that 8 of these are owls.  He has Short-eared, Long-eared, Barred,
Northern Hawk, Eastern Screech, Great Horned, Snowy and Great Grey.
Wouldn't that be nice for your winter list.
