OOPS! Too quick with the "send" button. In my shortcut move, I
forgot to change the SUBJECT window that I set the message up from.
My apologies.

Sherman

Finally, I've had a bit of time to organize my lunar eclipse photo
effort of a week ago. Here is a link to share my photo study of the
eclipse. I've posted via iWeb on dot Mac, hope they work okey on PCs
without putting in the light speckle artifacts I've heard about in
former postings when I've used the "slide show" format.

Most were taken at the St Croix Observatory site on Eclipse Night (a
few beginning partial shots were taken along the 101 while returning
from a GSC talk I had attended early evening at the NS Museum). In
hind sight I would have remained somewhere in the Mt Uniacke area
where I believe it was pretty much clear throughout. I saw the puffy
clouds ahead so I ducked into SCO instead of going to Avonport,
hoping SCO would remain cloudless. But not so, we had a few cloud
interruptions at SCO and some were pretty bad at times, but we
managed to get satisfactory views and photos through a reasonable
number of open spaces. This was especially true during totality.
The views were brief at times, but offered good views never the
less. When we were leaving (about 12:30 a.m.) the clouds had almost
completely disappeared. Doesn't that rot yer socks!!

Sherman
