Subject: [NatureNS] Yard Lists for Nova Scotia Bird Society Members are Now
Due!

Happy New Year Everyone;

It's time to send in your Yard List for 2007.

I don't need a species list - just the final tally;
and the size of your yard:
Small - 2,500 square feet or less
Medium - 2,500 - 10,000 square feet
Large - more than 10,000 square feet.

If you saw a bird or heard it from anywhere in your
yard - it counts!

Send your tally to me at: suzanneborkowski@yahoo.ca
or you can mail it to me at: 18 Parmbelle Lane,
Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3M 1N3
or you can call me at: 445-2922

Tallies will be published in my President's Column in
the next (Winter) issue of our magazine.

At our Annual General Meeting last October, Clarence
Stevens, Sr. moved, and Leslie MacDonald seconded that
every year, we should encourage members to send in
their year lists and have them published in our
magazine as well. The motion carried.

So if you've kept a year list in 2007, by all means,
send that to me as well!

Cheers;

Suzanne Borkowski
President
Nova Scotia Bird Society
