I went for a walk in my back yard yesterday and heard a different
bird. I took it for a sparrow, but it was being elusive. After a few
minutes I managed to get a quick peek at it. I believe it was a Winter
Wren. It was quite small and it had a short tail pointing straight up.

I went with Raymond d'Entremont yesterday to check out the Iceland
Gulls at the Dennis Pt. Wharf, but they weren't around. We did manage
to find 20 C. Loon's and a dozen Black Guillemots. He also has a White
Breasted Nuthatch tending his feeder.

I saw 8 Ring Necked ducks on Christmas day in the river at the
northern end of Lake Vaughan in Raynardton.
