Subject: Crows

Dear Jim:
All I can add to the crow hoards is that both last Sunday and today we
have had to go to Halifax at first light. Both times, there were hundreds of
crows in close groups at the side of the highway to the east and west of the
Gaspereau River. Groups were scattered for many kilometres and some were of
huge numbers. They just seemed to be sitting there on the ice! Many did not
take wing when vehicles came by. Martin.
