Hi Melvina;

I'm sorry to have to tell you, but Lake Echo is
outside the Halifax/Dartmouth Count circle.

I've checked, and there is no Count being done that
includes Lake Echo.

Some day, hopefully, someone will start a Count for
the Eastern Shore.

Perhaps, next year, you'd like to join us as a field
participant? The Count goes as far as Upper
Lawrencetown.

You could also join us for the Bedford Sackville Count
on Dec. 27th. The nearest areas are still a bit of a
drive from your home, but if you're interested, give
Rich Peckham a call:

835-6918

or e-mail him for more information:

af930@chebucto.ns.ca

Thanks for your interest - and Merry Christmas!

Nova Scotia Bird Society
