I observed a small flock of pine grosbeaks (2 males & 5 females) feeding on 
Canada holly berries, ilex verticillata, this afternoon.  They were very 
unconcerned and I was close enough to touch several of them.  Unfortunately 
no camera on hand!  Both genders were very colourful, exactly like the 
Sibley images.  A pair of brown creepers regularly visit my oak trees and 
give them a good going over.
