--Apple-Mail-41--622850428 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed Hi eveyrone: I just got the special issue for the 107th CBC (last years). There is a list of the counts that had more than 150 participants. Out of the 2052 counts that were held last year, Halifax-Dartmouth was tied for 9th place with 171 (98 field + 73 feeder), Wolfville was 20th with 137 (56+81) and Kingston was 36th with 116 (22+94). That is amazing given how many counts are held. Edmonton, Alberta had the most participants with 475 (141+334). Not surprisingsy, none of the Canadian counts made the list of counts above the US-Mexico border that had 150 or more species. The highest was Corpus Christi, Texas with 238 species. For circles south of the US-Mexico border the mest species were seen in Mindo-Tandayapa, Ecuador with 417! If you have to fly south for the Christmas holidays, that looks like a great spot!
