Wolfville Christmas Bird Count (CBC) 2007

The CBC is scheduled for Saturday, December 15 from dawn till dusk. The
count week is Dec 12 to Dec 18. Maps of the 24 areas, and descriptions
can be seen on the BNS website - www.blomidonnaturalists.ca, along with
names of field observers who have volunteered to count in areas. There
are still some areas that need coverage, and some observers who could
use help. If you would like to participate in the count, please contact
the compiler, Alison Bogan at 678-0446 or alison@bogan.ca. There is a $5
donation for participating unless you are a member of Bird Studies
Canada or the Nova Scotia Bird Society. Jim Wolford will be
co-ordinating the feeder watch and the count in Wolfville proper (areas
13 and 14). There is no charge for feeder watchers. Richard and Liz
Stern have invited participants to a potluck at their home for the post
count tally. Copies of the map of areas and the bird list will be
available at the Dec 10 BNS meeting. Come and join one of the oldest
CBC's in Nova Scotia.
